The latest figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) show an improving jobs market in Britain, after the economy pulled out of recession in the fourth quarter of 2009. Things are looking a bit better now with the unemployment rate slowly falling and also fewer people claiming Jobseeker's Allowance.
The number of vacancies in the three months to February 2010 was 480,000, up 39,000 over the quarter. There were increases in vacancies in most industrial sectors.
