The campaign Holiday Here this Year was created for Tourism Australia in order to support tourism operators and communities around the country, which were heavily affected by bushfires and the pandemic. The idea is to encourage Australians to take more city breaks, stay longer, explore further, and spend more money on their destinations.
All states and territories are featured in the campaign, which reflects all the diversity that Australia’s tourism has to offer. According to Tourism Australia, destinations that have been badly impacted by COVID-19 or were adversely affected by bushfires are also taken in consideration for the campaign.
