South Australia has recently updated its list adding 70 new occupations that are now open to applicants who are living offshore. In other words, the state has opened new opportunities for Registration of Interest (RoI) for the 491 Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa for those who are overseas.
For South Australian state nomination, there are minimum requirements that include at least 8 years work experience in the occupation or closely related occupation and a proficient plus English level. Full requirements for each occupation are available on South Australia’s Skilled Occupation List.
Additionally, prospective applicants need to meet basic requirements such as at least 65 points on the points test, have an occupation on the Skilled Occupation List, have a valid skills assessment, and be under 45 years old at the time of nomination.
