As a Thank you for supporting Australia . . .
If you have been in Australia for 12 months between Feb 2020 and December 2021, no matter what visa you were on – Bridging, Working Holiday or other, you will most probably be eligible to apply for Permanent residency under the temporary stream.
If you were working on a TSS Visa for the 12 months, then you will only have to work for a further 2 years for the same employee to apply.
If you were on a working holiday visa during that time or for 12 mths of that time and have the ability to move to a TSS 482 visa, then you will be eligible once you have completed 3 years with that company.
Similarly, if you were on a bridging visa and then moved to a TSS visa.
If you were on a TSS visa for 3 years with the same company, then you can apply after the 1st July 2022.
As of 1st July 2022, no matter what TSS 482 list you are on/ fall into – if you have been in Australia for 12 months between Feb 2020 and December 2021 you will be eligible for Permanent residency via the TRA scheme.
We look forward to hearing from you.
