In order to protect Koalas, their food sources and homes before they are gone forever and to address the issue of their national decline, the team at Pendragon had pledged to help and support local charities like Carbon Positive Australia (earlier known as Carbon Neutral Charitable Fund) who are working hard to stop the destruction of endangered habitats by planting trees to support local wildlife, and the Koala Hospital, which is an activity of Koala Conservation Australia. We are happy to update you on this pledge of ours! We feel proud to say that we have purchased to date this year nearly 600 trees ready to be planted in 2020…!
We will be continuing this in 2021 for every new lead we receive, we will be planting a native tree on behalf of every new lead we can assist and we will donate funds to save a Koala. In this way, we will not only help the Koalas and their food source but also do our bit in saving the planet.
Because in the end, it’s up to us to ensure future generations get to see these iconic Aussie animals in the wild.
