Agile Workforce Solutions

Our On-Hire Labour Agreement streamlines the visa process for recruiting overseas talent for short-term assignments. This agility enables you to respond promptly to market dynamics and project demands.

On-Hire Labour Agreement

Pendragon holds a TSS Visa (Temporary Skill Shortage) Labour On-hire Agreement, (OHLA) offers businesses in Australia an alternative and more flexible way to hire overseas talent without the need for a Standard Business Sponsorship (SBS). It provides various benefits, including risk mitigation and a probationary program option for testing out overseas workers. Pendragon is one of only a few businesses in Australia that have the authority to offer OHLAs.

Under the TSS Visa Scheme, an individual can journey to Australia and work in a nominated occupation for an approved sponsor for up to four years, provided the occupation aligns with the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL).

For occupations on the Short-term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL), the visa is granted for up to two years, with the option of getting an additional two year visa.

With both visa streams, family members can be included on the application, permitting them to work or study in Australia with no restrictions. The 482 visa also offers the flexibility of traveling in and out of the country.

Global Talent Recruitment

The OHLA allows businesses in Australia to select talent from anywhere globally, giving them access to a diverse pool of skilled individuals to work on various projects.

Wide Range of Job Titles

The OHLA facilitates the engagement of workers for any job title listed on the Australian and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations (ANZSCO). This means you have flexibility in hiring workers for different roles.

No Need for SBS

Unlike the traditional approach of requiring a Standard Business Sponsorship (SBS), the OHLA does not require your business to hold this sponsorship. It offers an alternative route for engaging overseas talent.

Outsourcing Compliance

The OHLA allows you to outsource overseas worker engagement, financial, and repatriation requirements. This means that the responsibility for compliance obligations, such as visa sponsorship and compliance with immigration laws, is shifted to the OHLA holder.

Your Guide to Standard Business Sponsorship (SBS)

When your organisation aims to bring in and employ a 482 Visa holder directly, our team is right here to lend a hand throughout the Standard Business Sponsorship (SBS) application process. Once approved, an SBS opens the doors to sponsor skilled workers for a solid 5-year stretch.

How We Make It Happen:

Our support extends to permanent employer-sponsored visa options tailored for skilled workers holding a long-term job offer in Australia. This typically follows the initial sponsorship via the Subclass 482 Visa, ensuring a seamless transition.

Visa Choices for Your Sponsorship Needs:

Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) Visa Subclass 186: This offers Direct Entry (DE), Temporary Residence Transition (TRT), and Labour Agreement streams.
Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (SESR) (Provisional) Visa Subclass 494: It provides Direct Entry (DE), Labour Agreement, and Subsequent Entry streams.

A World of Occupations

The ANZSCO list covers a vast range of roles across different industries, allowing you to pick the right talent that fits your needs.

Retention Boost

Sponsoring a 482 Visa holder can be a powerful tool for retaining talent in your organisation. To qualify for PR, the individual must work continuously for their sponsor on the 482 Visa for a significant period, fostering long-term commitment.

Path to PR

For occupations listed on the Medium Term List (MLTSSL) and the Short Term stream, the SBS sponsorship offers a seamless path to Permanent Residency (PR) through the ENS - Temporary Residence Transition (TRT) stream.

Effortless Procedures

Our expertise ensures that obtaining your SBS is a smooth and efficient journey for your organisation, navigating the Government process.
